1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the website located at ReportedCall.com (the "Service"), operated by ReportedCall.com ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ReportedCall.com. Your continued use of the Service after any updates to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of the Service

ReportedCall.com is a free, publicly accessible reverse phone lookup service. The Service allows users to:

• Search for information about phone numbers, including data sourced from public government databases and community-submitted reports.
• Submit public reports about phone numbers, describing the nature of calls received.
• Submit Contact Us inquiries.
• Request removal of a phone number from the Service.

The Service is provided free of charge and does not require registration or the creation of a user account.

3. Eligibility

The Service is intended for use by individuals aged 13 and older. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent's or legal guardian's permission to use the Service.

4. Data Sources & Accuracy

Phone number information displayed on the Service is derived from the following sources:

• Federal Trade Commission (FTC) - public data accessed via official API.
• Federal Communications Commission (FCC) - public data accessed via official API.
• User-submitted reports - community-contributed text comments submitted through the report form.

We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of information sourced from the FTC, FCC, or user contributions. Government data may be incomplete or subject to delay.

5. User-Submitted Reports

5.1 Your Responsibility

When you submit a report through the Service, you represent and warrant that:

• Your report is based on your genuine experience and is truthful to the best of your knowledge.
• Your report does not contain false statements of fact about any individual or entity.
• Your report does not include your own or any third party's personal information (including but not limited to names, addresses, social security numbers, financial information, or other identifying details).
• Your report does not violate any applicable law, including but not limited to defamation laws.
• Your report does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.

5.2 Personal Information Warning

You are explicitly advised not to include personal information about yourself or others in your report. Reports are publicly visible. We cannot guarantee that any personal information submitted in a report will remain private or be promptly removed.

5.3 License to Use Reports

By submitting a report, you grant ReportedCall.com a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to display, reproduce, and distribute your report as part of the Service, until such time as a valid removal request is received and fulfilled.

5.4 Content Moderation

We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to review, edit, or remove any user-submitted report at our sole discretion, including reports that we determine in good faith to be false, defamatory, harassing, illegal, or otherwise in violation of these Terms.

5.5 Public Nature of Reports

Reports submitted to the Service are publicly accessible. By submitting a report, you acknowledge and accept that your report may be viewed by anyone who visits the relevant phone number page.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Post false, defamatory, harassing, threatening, or misleading information about any person or entity.
• Include personal information (names, addresses, financial data, etc.) of yourself or others in reports.
• Engage in any conduct that violates federal, state, or local laws or regulations.
• Attempt to scrape, crawl, or mass-harvest data from the Service without our express written permission.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including stalking, harassment, or unauthorized surveillance.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its servers.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to submit reports or interact with the Service in bulk.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

Violation of these prohibitions may result in removal of your submitted content and, where appropriate, reporting to law enforcement authorities.

7. Number Removal Requests

If you are the owner of a phone number listed on the Service and wish to have it removed, you may submit a Number Removal Request using the form available on our website.

Upon receipt and verification of a valid removal request, we will remove the relevant phone number page and all associated user-submitted reports from the Service. The phone number page will redirect to a 404 error page following removal.

Information submitted as part of a Number Removal Request is used solely to process the request and is deleted once the request has been fulfilled. We do not retain removal request data beyond this purpose.

We reserve the right to verify the legitimacy of removal requests. We may decline requests that we determine in good faith to be fraudulent, abusive, or submitted in bad faith.

Please note that removal from our Service does not guarantee removal from search engine caches or other third-party websites.

8. Advertising

The Service displays advertisements through Google AdSense. Advertising revenue helps support the free availability of the Service. By using the Service, you acknowledge that advertisements may be displayed to you.

Google AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads. Upon visiting the Service, you will be presented with a consent notice that allows you to choose whether personalized or non-personalized ads are shown to you. We do not control the content of third-party advertisements and are not responsible for the products, services, or content advertised.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, layout, code, graphics, and all original content created by ReportedCall.com, is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Data sourced from the FTC and FCC is in the public domain and subject to those agencies' respective terms of use. User-submitted reports remain the responsibility of their respective authors; by submitting a report, you license us to use it as described in Section 5.3.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
• Warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any information provided through the service.

You use the Service at your own risk. We do not warrant that the information on the Service is accurate, current, or complete, or that it will meet your requirements.

11. Limitation of Liability

We do not control, endorse, or take responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party website or service. Your use of third-party websites is at your own risk and subject to the terms and privacy policies of those third parties.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which ReportedCall.com operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, or, where arbitration is not available, to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction in the applicable state.

You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against ReportedCall.com.

15. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
